PRESENTATION

Kathryn Elliott, The Alcohol Mindset Coach

Topic:       Raise Your Glass to Better Health – Small Changes, Big Impact

As Dry July approaches, now is the perfect time to pause and consider: how is alcohol influencing you, or potentially someone in your team’s health, focus, and performance at work?

From disrupted sleep to reduced clarity and low energy, alcohol’s impact on our wellbeing and workplace performance is often underestimated.  This session invites you to take a fresh look at your own drinking habits, while also exploring how alcohol may be affecting your team—what to look out for and how to initiate supportive conversations if you're concerned about a colleague or employee.

Together, we’ll explore how small, mindful changes in drinking patterns can create big improvements in mood, focus, productivity, and overall wellbeing.

Session takeaways:

  1. The science behind alcohol’s impact on sleep, stress, and focus
  2. An understanding of how drinking can affect workplace culture and performance
  3. How to open conversations with employees if you are concerned about their drinking
  4. The mental and physical benefits of taking a break from alcohol
  5. Kathryn’s personal journey of changing her relationship with alcohol
  6. Practical tools and strategies to reduce or rethink alcohol consumption
