About the Speaker

Abe Sidawy joined StateCover in 2012 and has over 15 years of experience in workers' compensation claims through various roles. Abe has in depth technical, legal, and claims-related knowledge and understanding.

Abe has a bachelor’s degree in law/commerce, along with a Certificate in Training and Workplace Assessment, and is also a Certified Disc facilitator. His career within workers' compensation included roles such as Case Manager, Technical Writer, Team Manager and Workers Compensation Claims Manager. In 2022, Abe moved out of his Claims Leadership role and moved into learning and development within People & Culture. He is now responsible for leading the learning and development function across StateCover utilising his extensive industry experience in building and delivering programs aimed at speed to competency.
